3C! Celebrates 35th Anniversary with Enhanced Offering
Packprint World reports that 3C! Packaging is celebrating 35 years in business by introducing enhanced, printed foil lidding for blisters, as well as printed foils with extruded plastics for sachets, produced using an FB-3300.
The 13-inch, 6-colour Nilpeter FB-3300 flexo press that has been integrated into the 3C! Packaging production environment, allows the privately owned pharmaceutical packaging company specializing in the design and manufacturing of custom folding cartons, printed literature, inserts/outserts, labels/foils, and unit dose compliance packaging, to run a broad range of multi-substrate packaging materials while specializing in thinner gauge films.
Servo control on-press and finishing equipment are used to maintain tight registration and control tension during production, while chill rollers at each colour station enable 3C! to regulate temperature when processing flexible materials. This minimizes film stretching as well as diminishing pre-activation of heat-seal coatings during the printing process.
Accordingly, 3C! has employed a servo CEI rewinder into its finishing process to further aid with web control during final rewind of the finished rolls.
Further, a full web, closed-loop vision system integrated on-press means any errors or comprised copy are detected and material defects flagged.
