Natalii, one of Poland’s leading label manufacturers, has recently upgraded its Nilpeter FA-17 Flexo press to increase production speed and efficiency. The investment reflects Natalii’s ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality label solutions and staying ahead in a competitive market.

Since its founding in 1985, Natalii has built a strong reputation in Poland’s label and flexible packaging industry. With a focus on innovation and quality, the company has become a trusted partner for businesses across key sectors such as food processing, cosmetics, automotive, and pharmaceuticals. Today, many of their products are exported to other EU countries.

Nilpeter and Natalii have enjoyed a close collaboration for many years. Their oldest Nilpeter press, an FA-2500, was installed back in 2000 and is still in operation today. In total, Natalii currently operates 10 Nilpeter presses.

Dual drying units and software boost push production to 120 m/min.

The primary objective of the recent upgrade was to increase the operational speed of the FA-17 press, which previously operated at 50-55 meters per minute for this specific heat-shrink-sleeve job. By integrating an additional drying unit, the press now features two drying units, facilitating more efficient and rapid drying of water-based adhesives and varnishes. Following the upgrade installation, the end-customer has approved the new shrink-sleeve job running at 120 m/min., confirming accurate positioning and effective drying of the water-based adhesive on plastic cups.

This enhancement required meticulous modifications, including extending the machine’s length, reconfiguring the entire piping system, upgrading electrical panels, and adapting the existing UV-system. Despite the complexity of these tasks, a dedicated team of three Nilpeter technicians from Denmark completed the project within a week.

Additionally, the FA-17 at Natalii, being the 10th press of its kind produced, received a comprehensive software update. This upgrade to the latest Nilpeter software version introduces advanced automation features, further optimising Natalii’s flexo printing operations.

The success of this project highlights the strong partnership between Natalii and Nilpeter. Natalii’s owner, Artur Nowaczyk, shared his satisfaction, stating,

“This investment is an important step in ensuring, we remain at the forefront of the industry with the best possible technology. Nilpeter listens to our needs and works closely with us to develop solutions that help us improve efficiency, while maintaining the high quality our customers expect. This upgrade is a great example of how we, together, can push our production capabilities forward – and the solution works absolutely perfectly.”
