Inglese S.r.l., a renowned Italian supplier to the graphics arts industry, has been honored with the prestigious Gold Leaf Award by the Foil and Specialty Effects Association (FSEA) during the celebrated annual Print Embellishment competition held last month in Dallas
This award recognizes outstanding achievements in the printing industry, and Inglese S.r.l. stood out with its exceptional work on the EOS Premium Vodka Label, produced for Labelexpo Europe 2023.
The award-winning label was created by Procom Service S.r.l. in Forli, printed on a Nilpeter Panorama (DP3) and post-processed using a Refine Compact 2, showcasing the label’s stunning visual appeal and significant shelf presence. The application of Cast & Cure™ film technology by Breit Technologies, LLC. played a pivotal role in achieving an eye-catching holographic embellishment that enhances the label’s attractiveness and marketability.
Commercial Director Marcello Morara from Inglese S.r.l. commented,
“We are naturally proud of the recognition we have received for the label we produced and showcased at Labelexpo Europe in Brussels last year. The award results from strong collaboration across our partners, Refine Finishing – of which Inglese S.r.l. is exclusive sales agent in Italy – and Breit Technologies – of which our company is exclusive distributor in Italy – , contributing their technology and expertise. It’s an achievement we all can be proud of “.
The Refine Compact 2, integral to this project, is an advanced die-cutting and flexo solution featuring a fully automated flexo printing station equipped with cold foil, spot varnish, spot colours, and lamination. This versatile setup also supports cast and cure and multi-layer capabilities, making it an ideal all-round choice for both enhancing and finishing digital and conventional printed labels.
The Compact Series solutions are designed to streamline the production process, reducing waste and costs while speeding up job changeovers and boosting production capacity. This represents a smart and efficient approach to converting.
Adding to this, Søren Ringbo, General Manager Digital Products at Nilpeter, stated,
“We are happy and proud to have provided a solution that played a significant role in this award from FSEA. We believe the finished label was of exceptionally high quality, incorporating several innovative technologies. It is the culmination of good teamwork across the board.”
