Nitai Press Expands Production
Labels & Labeling reports that Nitai Press, based out of Ahmedabad in Gujarat, shifted to its new facility in March this year.
Covering three floors, it is built on a total area of 12,000 square feet. The company also installed its first Nilpeter FB-3300 on March 26.
The 13-inch, 8-colour all UV-press features screen, cold foil, lamination, de-lam, re-lam, and re-pass facilities along with two die-cutting stations.
Rajan Vyas, owner of Nitai Press, said, “I opted for Nilpeter because the company has a manufacturing facility in India, so I could go to the factory and see the press running before taking a decision. Nilpeter offers great customer support.”
The company started its label printing business in 2007 with a Mark Andy 2200 and deals in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and bar code labels. ‘We will now be targeting some big FMCG companies,’ said Vyas.
It converts about 160,000 square meters of label stock every month. Nitai Press closed the 2012-13 financial year with a turnover of about 1.14 million USD.
With this new press, the company’s target is to grow by 30-35% in the current financial year and is confident of achieving a turnover of about 1.63 million USD.
